Richard is the managing director and co-founder of Square Mile, and is responsible for determining the strategy and focus for the business in conjunction with the board and the executive management team. He works closely with clients, as well forging strong business relationships within the wider industry. Richard regularly interviews leading industry figures for Square Mile’s popular ‘Talking With’ series.
Steve is responsible for the distribution business, playing an active role in the servicing of clients in the asset management, adviser and platform space. He is also responsible for the development and implementation of the firm’s strategy in conjunction with the executive management team.
Anna primarily covers Square Mile’s responsible investment research, focusing on the 3D investing capability. This includes researching funds and producing reports, writing insights and updates for client communications.
As a member of the responsible investment team, Miranda is responsible for ESG integration, voting and engagement. Her role involves overseeing the environmental, social and governance screening process for ethical and sustainable funds. She also provides corporate governance screening and research for all active equity portfolios and conducts research into wider ESG issues.
Amanda is the lead manager on the Clean Economy fund. She is also the co-manager of the Global Thematics fund and the Clean Tech thematic specialist within the internal global research team. Prior to joining Axa, IM in 2011, she was an investment analyst at Nevsky Capital, covering Europe and then emerging markets across a range of sectors with emphasis on energy, utilities and consumer.
Abbie is the fund manager of the Jupiter Global Sustainable Equities Fund, a strategy which invests in high quality companies leading the transition to a more sustainable world. Since joining Jupiter AM in 2006, she has dedicated her career to sustainable investing, with her team building and designing a rigorous investment framework. She has received recognition for her investment performance, her approach to ESG integration and her contribution to address the structural hurdles that women in investment face.
Mark leads the FCA’s policy work on sustainable finance and investor stewardship. In this role, he is responsible for several initiatives, including the FCA’s implementation of the TCFD’s recommendations and the FCA’s work with IOSCO on corporate reporting standards on sustainability. Prior to joining the FCA in 2018, he spent 15 years as a central banker with the Bank of England and the Reserve Bank of Australia. He held a number of senior roles, with a particular focus on policy, research and supervision in the field of financial market infrastructures. Before joining the official sector, he spent several years as a fixed income and currency fund manager with Kleinwort Benson IM and Goldman Sachs AM.
Jens joined the firm in 2013, having previously served as head of portfolio management at Kleinwort Benson Investors, Dublin, where he focused on environmental strategies for water, agribusiness and clean tech. He has over two decades of experience in the investment industry and is a CFA Charterholder and a certified CEFA (Certified European Financial Analyst of the BVFA-ABAF – Belgian Association of Financial Analysts).
